Mapua clinches top NCAA Season 99 seed

Mapua Cardinals clinched the top seed in NCAA Season 99 men's basketball tournament with a narrow 77-74 victory over JRU Heavy Bombers on Wednesday, November 22.

Clint Escamis led Mapua with 25 points, four rebounds, four assists, and five steals, while Warren Bonifacio added 17 points and five rebounds.

JRU mounted a comeback to tie the game at 72 but fell short when Joshua Guiab's last-second shot missed, securing Mapua's position as the top seed with a record of 15-3.
