CSB secures Final Four berth despite loss to EAC

College of Saint Benilde (CSB) lost to Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC), 69-77, in the NCAA Season 99 men's basketball tournament on Wednesday.

Despite the loss, CSB secured the fourth spot and a semifinal berth after Jose Rizal University fell to fifth place with their own loss.

Nat Cosejo led EAC with 26 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists, while JP Maguliano added 12 points and 10 rebounds for EAC.

EAC finished the season with a .500 record (9-9), marking their best performance in over a decade.

CSB's Red Lions have one more game left against Letran Knights on Friday at 3:30 p.m., while San Sebastian College-Recoletos will face Arellano University earlier that day at 1:30 p.m.
