China's Guangzhou donates masks, thermometers to Manila

On Wednesday, March 25, Guangzhou municipal government in China donated medical supplies to Manila, including 200,000 N95 masks, 100,000 surgical masks, and 2,000 infrared thermometers.

The donation was received by Manila Mayor Isko Moreno at the city hall.

Foreign Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. announced the gift from Guangzhou on Tuesday, March 24.

Interior and Local Government Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya confirmed that LGUs can accept foreign donations as long as they comply with Bureau of Customs regulations.
