Manila requires swab tests for returning residents

Residents returning to Manila following the holiday season will be required to undergo an RT-PCR or swab test starting Saturday to prevent a spike in COVID-19 cases.

The Manila Health Department issued a memorandum urging the city government to test residents before they return to their barangays.

Quarantine facilities were established in each district for testing, and returning residents are required to get tested before being allowed entry into their respective barangays.
