Palace optimistic about convalescent plasma study

The Philippine government expressed optimism about a study on convalescent plasma transfusion as a treatment for COVID-19.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque stated that the government-funded study, conducted by the University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital with support from the Department of Science and Technology, aims to contribute positively to global efforts in developing treatments for the virus.

The study involves using plasma from recovered patients who have developed neutralizing antibodies against COVID-19.
