Malabon: Only 35% of residents want COVID-19 vaccine

Only 35% of over 1,300 Malabon City residents expressed interest in getting a COVID-19 vaccine according to a recent survey.

The DOH urged local authorities to conduct town hall meetings to address concerns about the vaccines.

Malabon has identified five vaccination sites and formed five teams to vaccinate over 247,000 of its population.

Mayor Lenlen Oreta aims to initially inoculate 118,000 residents with around 1,100 individuals vaccinated daily once the city-wide vaccination begins.
