Magnolia wins second straight in PBA Philippine Cup

Magnolia secured its second consecutive victory in the PBA Philippine Cup by defeating Converge with a score of 83-71 on Wednesday at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.

Ian Sangalang led Magnolia with 18 points and nine rebounds, adding four assists despite facing younger opponents Justin Arana and Justine Baltazar.

Sangalang emphasized respect for his young counterparts, noting that underestimating them could lead to a tough game as seen in recent performances.

Zav Lucero also had a strong showing with 18 points, five rebounds, two assists, and two blocks, while Russel Escoto contributed 11 points.

Calvin Abueva provided additional support with eight points, seven rebounds, and two steals, helping Magnolia improve to 2-0 in the Philippine Cup.
