Gordon: New PRC testing center in Cagayan De Oro to boost COVID-19 capacity

Senator Richard Gordon expressed optimism about enhancing the Philippine Red Cross's (PRC) COVID-19 testing capacity with a new center in Cagayan De Oro City.

The PRC facility, built through a donation from Lysol Philippines worth P36 million, will include two polymerase chain reaction machines capable of processing 2,000 tests daily.

Half of the donation will fund the construction and operations of the Philippine Red Cross Molecular Laboratory, while the other half will cover maintenance and personnel costs.
