LTFRB allows 980 UV Express units for 47 NCR routes starting Monday

The Coalition of Drivers and Operators of UV Express (Codex) said they are ready to resume operations but requested the government to allow more units on the road.

LTFRB Chairman Martin Delgra announced that 980 UV Express units will operate in 47 routes starting Monday, following guidelines set by DOTr for resuming public transportation under GCQ.

Delgra stated that additional jeepneys may be deployed later based on passenger demand and appealed to operators to comply with LTFRB Memorandum Circular 2020-025 which restricts pick-up and drop-off points and limits travel through major thoroughfares like Edsa and Commonwealth Avenue.
