LP member: Robredo's independent run is tactical

Vice President Leni Robredo's decision to run as an independent candidate is seen as more tactical than ideological by a Liberal Party member.

Teddy Baguilat, former Ifugao Representative and Senate hopeful, stated that running independently makes Robredo 'more inclusive' and allows supporters who are not aligned with the LP to feel comfortable supporting her.

Political analysts suggest that while this strategy could attract more votes, Robredo needs broader support to challenge the ruling party's candidate effectively.
