Caraga Region Reports High Rate of Local COVID-19 Transmission

As of Friday, October 9, 63 out of the 70 new COVID-19 cases in Caraga are local transmissions.

The total number of local transmission cases in Caraga now stands at 817 or 51% of the region's 1,633 confirmed cases.

Butuan City has the highest rate of local transmission with 70% of its 854 total cases being locally transmitted.

DOH-13 is monitoring other areas for potential local transmissions and working to prevent further spread.
