Gov't allows leisure travel from NCR Plus to MGCQ areas

The government has eased COVID-related travel restrictions by allowing leisure trips for all ages from 'NCR Plus' (Metro Manila and nearby provinces) to areas under general community quarantine (GCQ) or modified GCQ starting June 1.

Travelers must test negative for COVID-19, with those aged 18-65 following local guidelines while minors and seniors require a negative RT-PCR test.

Point-to-point travel is mandatory, allowing pit stops only for necessities; commercial flights have resumed for leisure travel.
