Albay: Legazpi and Daraga under GCQ until June 15

Albay Governor Al Francis Bichara placed Legazpi City and Daraga under general community quarantine (GCQ) from May 31 to June 15 due to rising COVID-19 cases.

Mayor Victor Perete of Daraga ordered barangay chairpersons to strictly enforce health protocols, including the mandatory wearing of face masks in public places.

Non-compliance with these measures is punishable by a fine of PHP1,000-PHP2,500 or up to 30 days imprisonment.
