OFWs in Riyadh resort to dumpster diving for food

Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia have resorted to digging through trash for food due to lack of income.

Several OFWs claimed they were reprimanded by POLO officials for taking footage of their situation and posting it online.

The workers said their company had an agreement with POLO Riyadh that the OFWs would be repatriated if wages weren't provided by April 15, but this did not happen.

Around 400 OFWs in Riyadh have reportedly resorted to looking for food in garbage cans due to severe lack of provisions and financial aid.
