Laguna under total lockdown due to rising COVID-19 cases

Laguna Governor Ramil Hernandez has placed the entire province under a total lockdown due to rising Covid-19 cases.

As of Friday, Laguna reported 17 confirmed cases with eight towns—Kalayaan, Paete, Pakil, Pangil, Siniloan, Famy, Mabitac, and Santa Maria—already under total lockdown since Thursday, March 26.

The remaining cases are distributed across Santa Rosa (7), Biñan (3), Calamba (2), San Pedro (2), Cabuyao (1), Los Baños (1), and Lumban (1).

Hernandez appealed for public cooperation during the implementation of these strict measures.
