UP draws with Ateneo, loses lead to Lady Tamaraws

UST Male Woodpushers maintained second place in the men's division after a commanding 4-0 victory over Adamson University, overtaking UP with six match points.

In the women's division, FEU clinched a narrow 2.5-1.5 victory against UP, relying on Rhea Jean Canino's crucial draw on Board 4 and Mhage Sebastian's brilliant combination of tactical moves to force WNM Francois Magpily to resign after 42 moves.

UP remained in contention with a 3-1 win over FEU, improving its match points tally to six.
