LA Tenorio hints at retirement after Game 7 loss

LA Tenorio of Barangay Ginebra hinted at a possible retirement after losing Game 7 of the PBA Philippine Cup semifinals to San Miguel Beer on Wednesday night.

Despite barely seeing action in the decisive game, logging just two minutes and 28 seconds, Tenorio emphasized that he will make his final decision about his future within the next few weeks.

The veteran guard highlighted his crucial performance in Game 6 where he scored all of his 11 points in the fourth quarter to force a rubber match, making it one of his most memorable moments this season.

Tenorio expressed sadness if this was indeed his last game and underscored that the young players on Ginebra will gain valuable experience from participating in such critical matches.

The point guard recently won the PBA Comeback Player of the Year award after overcoming colon cancer, and he also praised teammate Chris Ross for his performance in Game 7.
