NBA’s Kuzma supports PBA’s four-point shot, sees benefits for fan engagement

NBA player Kyle Kuzma expressed support for the PBA's introduction of the four-point shot during his media availability in Makati on Monday.

Kuzma, who is known for his deadly outside shooting and helped the Los Angeles Lakers win the championship in 2020 alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis, said he believes it is beneficial for basketball and could be adopted by the NBA as well.

The PBA implemented the four-point shot in Season 49 Governors' Cup, with Chris Banchero of Meralco Bolts scoring the first-ever four-point basket during their opening game against Magnolia.

Kuzma suggested that such a rule would enhance drama and fan engagement in both the NBA and the PBA.

During his visit, Kuzma also thanked Filipino fans for their warm reception and expressed excitement about future visits.
