Kungfu Reyes named San Beda women's volleyball coach

Former UST Golden Tigresses head coach Kungfu Reyes has been named as the new head coach of San Beda University's women's volleyball team, marking his first collegiate coaching venture outside UST after a decade-long stint with the program.

Reyes was recently replaced at UST by Shaq delos Santos on June 3, just 18 days ago.

San Beda University announced Reyes' appointment on social media, welcoming him to their program amid five coaching changes in as many years and a poor record of 4-14 this season.

Despite joining San Beda, Reyes will continue his roles as head coach of the Junior Golden Tigresses and program director for UST's girls' and women's divisions, while also assisting Norman Miguel with Chery Tiggo Crossovers in the PVL.

Under Reyes' leadership, the UST Golden Tigresses reached two finals appearances in Seasons 81 and 86 but did not advance to the championship series in Season 87.
