KungFu Reyes joins San Beda as dir, coach

KungFu Reyes has joined San Beda University as both the program director and women's volleyball team coach, aiming to revitalize a squad that has missed the Final Four for four consecutive seasons.

Reyes, who previously coached at the University of Santo Tomas in the UAAP for a decade, expressed excitement about coaching in the NCAA and thanked San Beda’s management for their trust.

San Beda placed eighth in the NCAA's 100th season with a record of 4-14, returning to a double-round robin format.

Under Reyes's guidance, the young team led by players such as Angel Habacon and Janella Bachar will look to improve, as San Beda has had five coaches in the past five seasons.

At UST, Reyes achieved six Final Four appearances and two runner-up finishes, with standout performances from players like Eya Laure and Sisi Rondina.
