Kris Aquino discharged, starts aggressive treatment

Kris Aquino has been discharged from the hospital following surgical procedures and is now in isolation as she begins a more aggressive phase of her medical treatment, which includes the implantation of a port-a-cath.

In an Instagram update, Kris thanked the medical staff at St. Luke's Medical Center for their care and support during her treatment.

She recently began a six-month window period where doctors will devise an optimal treatment plan while she remains isolated.

Earlier this year, Kris made her first public appearance at the People Asia People of the Year 2025 awards night and has been transparent about her health struggles, including nine autoimmune diseases.

Recently, alarming results were found in her blood panel tests, prompting her to reaffirm her determination with the message 'Tuloy pa rin ang laban' (The fight continues).
