Kris Aquino moves to service apt for med treatment

Kris Aquino has moved to a service apartment after undergoing surgical procedures, including the implantation of a port-a-cath device.

The procedures began on August 20, with Kris being transferred to a cardiac operating room for the installation of the port-a-cath that facilitates easy access to veins.

In an Instagram post, Kris expressed gratitude and referenced her mother's strength during similar treatments, noting how she endured without complaint.

Kris emphasized that her sons Josh and Bimby are motivating factors in her continued resilience as she battles 11 autoimmune diseases.

Her doctors have a six-month window to develop the best treatment plan for Kris, who will be in isolation and undergoing rehabilitation therapy during this period.

Acknowledging the difficulty of being as brave as her parents, Kris thanked supporters with a new hashtag #LabanKris, encouraging prayers and love.

In February, Kris made a public appearance at the People Asia People of the Year 2025 awards night, and in April she revealed she has nine autoimmune diseases.
