Korea donates 34 refrigerated trucks, service vans to PH

The Republic of Korea donated 34 refrigerated trucks and four service vans to the Philippines on Tuesday, February 15, to support the country's ongoing COVID-19 vaccine drive.

Equipped for cold-storage requirements, these vehicles will be distributed among the DOH’s regional offices across the 17 regions in the country.

Korean Ambassador Kim Inchul stated that Korea and the Philippines have been collaborating since the start of the pandemic and will continue to work together until they overcome the crisis.

The donation is part of a $2.5 million assistance package from the Korean government aimed at improving the Philippines' cold chain network for vaccines.
