Katrina Anne Castañeda Johnson crowned Binibining Pilipinas 2025

Katrina Anne Castañeda Johnson was crowned Binibining Pilipinas International 2025 during the 61st edition of the national beauty pageant on Sunday, June 15.

The 27-year-old Filipino-American beauty queen from Davao won the top crown and also received Best in Evening Gown and Binibining Dunkin awards, dedicating her victory to her father and late mother.

Her journey to victory began two years ago when she finished as first runner-up in Binibining Pilipinas 2023, losing to Angelica Lopez of Palawan for the title. This year's win was a comeback fueled by her desire not to have any regrets from her previous run.

Katrina, a licensed pharmacist from Davao, advocates for accessible healthcare and has been involved in community engagement within vulnerable sectors since 2016, sharing that going after dreams while still can is crucial.

She also shares her passion for rescuing and caring for dogs, including one special needs dog who uses a wheelchair to move around, and credits her advocacy to her late mother's legacy.

As the new titleholder, Katrina will represent the Philippines at the Miss International pageant next year.
