Kacey dela Rosa, David Licauco join Pilipinas United 3x3 League this weekend

Kacey dela Rosa and celebrity David Licauco are set to participate in the inaugural Pilipinas United 3x3 League this weekend at Ayala Malls Manila Bay.

Dela Rosa will lead Gilas Pilipinas Women U23, joined by Kristine Cayabyab, Elaine Etang, and Cheska Apag, as they prepare for the 2025 Fiba 3x3 U23 World Cup in Xiong An, China.

The women's teams are divided into two pools; Pool A includes top local team Uratex Dream and international squads from Singapore and Malaysia, while Pool B features Pilipinas Aguilas with players like Lexi Pana and Jhaz Joson.

On the men's side, Licauco will play alongside Louie Vigil, Gryann Mendoza, and Tosh Sesay in Pool D against teams from Japan and Malaysia.

The tournament offers cash prizes of USD 5,000 for the men’s winner and a ticket to an international challenger event, while women's winners receive USD 3,000.
