Ka Leody holds rally sans Comelec permit

Labor leader and presidential aspirant Leody de Guzman held a proclamation rally in Quezon City on Tuesday despite lacking a permit from the Commission on Elections (Comelec).

De Guzman's camp said they are awaiting Comelec’s response regarding their campaign application permit.

Comelec Director Elaiza Sabile-David confirmed there is no record of a campaign permit filed by De Guzman for his rally, stating it would be an election offense to conduct the event without a permit.
