New witness to support Dondon in missing sabungeros case

Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla announced on Tuesday that a new witness will bolster the credibility of whistleblower Julie 'Dondon' Patidongan in the missing sabungeros case.

The new civilian witness, whose identity remains undisclosed for now, will provide independent evidence alongside Patidongan's claims and real evidence separate from hearsay.

Remulla expressed gratitude to PNP chief Police General Nicolas Torre III for relieving a service commander due to discomfort with their behavior during the investigation.

Search operations at Taal Lake have resumed after being temporarily halted due to bad weather conditions.

The Justice Secretary also thanked President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for his commitment to a whole-of-government approach in resolving the case.
