JPGT starts milestone season with expanded tour offering WAGR points

The Junior Philippine Golf Tour (JPGT), which begins its milestone season on Tuesday, April 8, at the Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club in Gen. Trias, Cavite, offers World Amateur Golf Ranking points to junior golfers across Luzon.

This year's expanded 15-leg tour features three age divisions: 7-10, 11-14, and 15-18, with top players like Shinichi Suzuki, Charles Serdenia, Precious Zaragosa, and Tiffany Bernardino competing for WAGR points.

The boys' 15-18 division includes the likes of Alonso Espartero, Alonso Corpus, John Paul Agustin Jr., and Kristoffer Nadales, while the girls' bracket features players such as Rafa Anciano and Jada Santiago.

In the younger divisions, Venus delos Santos and Mavis Espedido lead the girls' 7-10 division, while Jesus Yambao and Zoji Edoc head the boys', ensuring balanced regional representation throughout the series.

To ensure fair play, players are only allowed to compete in their region of residence or birthplace; the North vs South Elite Finals will take place from September 30 to October 2 at The Country Club.
