David scores 25 points in Ginebra's win over NorthPort

Jayson David of Barangay Ginebra had a standout performance in their recent PBA Philippine Cup matchup against NorthPort, securing a victory with a score of 131-106 at the PhilSports Arena on Wednesday.

Activated after LA Tenorio was relegated to the Unrestricted Free Agent list, David scored 7-of-9 from the field and contributed 25 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and two steals in his first game back since being reactivated.

David's contributions were crucial as Ginebra dominated NorthPort with a score of 131-106 at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City, with most of his damage coming from outside shooting in the second half when the outcome was already settled.

Head coach Tim Cone praised David for his consistent effort during practice sessions and emphasized that getting him into the lineup was something the team had been wanting to do for some time, noting Tenorio is expected to return in a month.

RJ Abarrientos led Ginebra with 27 points and eight assists, while NorthPort was paced by William Navarro who scored 19 points.
