PAGASA warns ITCZ brings rains, thunderstorms over Zamboanga, Palawan

A low pressure area (LPA) was spotted east of Cagayan on Saturday.

PAGASA warned that the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) would bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Zamboanga Peninsula, Palawan, Caraga, Davao region, and SOCCSKSARGEN.

Flash floods or landslides are possible during severe thunderstorms in these areas.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers may also prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
