ITCZ brings rain to southern Mindanao, hot weather in Metro Manila

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will continue to affect southern Mindanao on Thursday, bringing cloudy skies and scattered rain showers to Basilan, Cebu, Tawi-Tawi, South Cotabato, Sarangani, and nearby areas.

Metro Manila and other parts of the country will experience hot and humid weather due to easterly influence, with isolated rain showers expected in some regions.

Parts of Mindanao, Visayas, and Luzon may see occasional rains and thunderstorms starting Thursday afternoon and continuing until Friday morning.

Wind speeds across the nation are expected to be light to moderate from the east to southeast, with slight to moderate coastal conditions.

No weather disturbances or gale warnings have been issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) for the rest of April.
