Isko opens Manila Zoo as vax site for minors, seniors

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno announced Tuesday that the Manila Zoo will open as a vaccination site for minors aged 12-17 and senior citizens starting January 19.

The zoo, which has been renovated, can accommodate up to 1,000 individuals daily by schedule, including companions who are allowed free entry from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Minors can receive primary doses while the elderly can get their booster shots; pre-registration is advised at manilazoo.ph and ManilaCOVID-19vaccine.ph.
