Rolly's damage to infra, agri tops P11B

As of Thursday, the total damage to infrastructure and agriculture caused by Super Typhoon Rolly has reached over P11 billion in affected regions.

Infrastructure damage alone is now at P8.47 billion across Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol, Eastern Visayas, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the National Capital Region.

Agricultural losses amount to P2.936 billion in Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol, and Eastern Visayas, affecting 44,712 hectares of farmland.

In Camarines Sur alone, infrastructure damage is at P1.9 billion while agricultural losses are estimated at P770 million.

The DPWH reported that national roads in Catanduanes remain impassable but will be cleared within a few days.
