Iloilo ACMs complete final testing, mock voting ensures accuracy

On Tuesday, three automated counting machines (ACMs) intended for mall voting in Iloilo City completed final testing and sealing ahead of the May 12 midterm polls.

The remaining 414 ACMs underwent synchronized final testing and sealing on Wednesday with only minor issues reported and promptly resolved.

Lawyer Pinky Jevini Tentativa from Comelec-Iloilo confirmed that mock voting involving 0 to 10 voters will ensure accuracy before sealing the machines until Election Day.

The City Treasurer's Office also inspected 417 boxes containing official ballots for Iloilo City registered voters, ensuring correct ballot contents and deploying them on May 12 starting at midnight.

Comelec Iloilo has received all necessary equipment, including 2,688 bundles of official ballots for over 1.6 million registered voters in the city and province of Iloilo, with security personnel and teachers ready for election day.
