Ilocos, Baguio reopen borders to locals Sept. 21

Four provinces in Ilocos and Baguio City are preparing to reopen their tourism sites to residents starting September 21.

The reopening follows a series of consultations between local chief executives who committed to adhere to prescribed guidelines.

A technical working group will meet next week to finalize details for the 'bubble' tourism corridor, aimed at revitalizing the region's economy affected by the pandemic.
