DFA: 28 more Filipinos abroad recover from COVID-19

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reported that 28 more Filipinos abroad have recovered from COVID-19 on Saturday, bringing the total number of recoveries to 6,123.

The total confirmed cases increased to 10,067 with five new infections recorded in Europe and the Middle East, while the death toll remained at 755.

Compared to last week's figures, the recovery rate among Filipinos abroad has risen to almost 61% of the case count, while those under treatment decreased slightly to 31.68%.

As of now, there are 3,189 patients undergoing treatment, with most cases concentrated in the Middle East/Africa region.
