IATF lifts antigen test requirement for outbound Filipinos

Starting next Sunday, November 1, Filipinos leaving the country will no longer need an antigen test for COVID-19 as per a decision by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID).

While other requirements such as a negative RT-PCR test if mandated by the destination country, round-trip tickets, health and travel insurance, and signing a declaration acknowledging travel risks remain in place.

BI Commissioner Jaime Morente stated that these measures will continue to be enforced for departing Filipino tourists.
