Strict security, health protocols for Duterte's final SONA

The Batasan Complex in Quezon City is under strict security and health protocols ahead of President Rodrigo Duterte's final State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday, July 26.

House Speaker Lord Allan Velasco said that only fully vaccinated individuals with negative RT-PCR and antigen test results will be allowed entry into the complex.

The number of SONA attendees has been shortlisted to around 350 from an initial estimate of over 1,450.

Special identification cards are given to essential congressional staff and attendees.
