House approves bill giving P1M to 101-year-olds

The House of Representatives unanimously approved House Bill 7535, which increases the cash gift for Filipino centenarians who reach 101 years old from P100,000 to P1 million.

The bill also provides a P25,000 cash grant for nonagenarians and octogenarians who turn 80, 85, 90, or 95.

Funding will be provided under the annual General Appropriations Act.
