House adjourns early due to Tropical Storm Enteng

The House of Representatives adjourned its session early on Monday due to bad weather caused by Tropical Storm Enteng.

Deputy Majority Leader Francisco Paolo Ortega moved for the immediate adjournment, citing inclement weather conditions.

Deputy Speaker Duke Frasco approved the motion, setting the next session for Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.

Secretary General Reginald Velasco assured employees that they could be excused from physical attendance due to the bad weather.

Despite the disruptions, committee hearings continued with the Department of Education presenting its proposed budget for 2025.

Earlier, the Presidential Communications Office announced school suspensions in Metro Manila due to heavy rains.
