Henry enters PAR as super typhoon

Super Typhoon Hinnamnor entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Wednesday night and was given the local name Henry.

Henry is currently located northeast of extreme Northern Luzon with maximum sustained winds of 195 kilometers per hour and gustiness up to 240 km/h, moving west southwest at 25 kilometers per hour.

Tropical Depression Gardo also entered PAR on Wednesday night, bringing additional rain due to the southwest monsoon or hanging habagat.

PAGASA warns that Henry may affect extreme Northern Luzon despite not making landfall due to its size and strength.
