PAGASA forecasts cloudy skies, isolated rains due to southwest monsoon

PAGASA forecasts cloudy skies and isolated rain showers over most parts of the country due to the southwest monsoon on Thursday.

Metro Manila and other regions will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers, while northern Luzon may see more significant rainfall as the southwest monsoon moves in.

The weather bureau is monitoring two typhoons outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility: Typhoon Maysak northeast of extreme northern Luzon, and Typhoon Haishen east of extreme northern Luzon.

On Tuesday, isolated rain showers were reported across most parts of the country with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms affecting central and southern Luzon due to the southwest monsoon.
