Duterte calls for unity to build better Philippines

President Rodrigo Duterte called on Filipinos to help build a better and more prosperous Philippines ahead of his fifth State of the Nation Address.

Duterte expressed optimism that despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, unity among Filipinos would lead to success in fighting the virus.

Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea assured during pre-SONA forums that the government is working round-the-clock to minimize socio-economic impacts and ensure sustainable economic recovery.
