Gov't undecided on mandatory jabs, pending 3-day drive

The government has not yet decided on mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations, pending the results of a three-day nationwide vaccination drive.

Acting presidential spokesperson Karlo Nograles stated that if consistent high turnout continues during these mass vaccinations, there may be no need for a compulsory vaccination law.

Nograles also noted that the emergence of the new Omicron variant is another factor influencing this decision.
