Nayong Pilipino set as first mega vaccination site

Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire announced that Nayong Pilipino in Parañaque City will be the first mega vaccination site to open soon.

Vergeire stated that vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. and the Department of Tourism have agreed to utilize the area for vaccinations.

The government plans to use stadiums and coliseums as mega vaccination sites, similar to the US strategy, to vaccinate four million Filipinos per month.

These mega sites can accommodate up to 10,000 people a day, while medium-sized sites currently in operation can handle 5,000 to 6,000 daily.
