Gov't mandates COVID jabs for on-site workers

The Philippine government has mandated that employees doing on-site work must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 starting December 1 in areas with sufficient vaccine supply.

Eligible but unvaccinated workers will not face termination but must undergo regular RT-PCR or antigen tests at their own expense.

Public and private employers are required to vaccinate eligible employees, while public transportation sectors must ensure all eligible workers are fully vaccinated as a condition for continuing operations.
