Gov't gives 4Ps beneficiaries P200 monthly aid

The government will provide an additional PHP200 monthly subsidy to around 12 million recipients of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) starting this month.

Acting Presidential Spokesperson Martin Andanar announced that the total amount for this aid is PHP33 billion and it will be distributed on top of existing grants ranging from PHP1,400 to PHP3,000 per household.

The subsidy aims to support families during rising prices but officials emphasized that current grant amounts are still insufficient due to budget constraints.
