Gov't eyes Feb. 4 start for 5-11 vax rollout

The national government plans to begin vaccinating children aged 5 to 11 against COVID-19 in Metro Manila from February 4.

Vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. announced that the initial rollout will include 24 hospitals and non-hospital facilities, with more sites expected as demand increases.

Manila Mayor Francisco 'Isko Moreno' Domagoso confirmed that vaccination hubs will be set up at the Manila Zoo and Bagong Ospital ng Maynila.

Pateros Mayor Miguel Ponce III reported that around 40% of the target recipients in his town have already registered for the vaccine.
