Gov't exceeds target with 7.5M vaccinated in 2nd 'Bayanihan, Bakunahan'

The national government exceeded its target for the second phase of its simultaneous vaccination drive against Covid-19, with close to 7.5 million Filipinos vaccinated from December 15 to December 23.

Despite the postponement of vaccinations in provinces hit by Typhoon Odette, a total of 7,497,802 doses were administered during the second 'Bayanihan, Bakunahan' campaign, surpassing the initial target of 7,326,613 jabs.

Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles thanked Filipinos for their cooperation and medical front-liners, vaccinators, and volunteers for their dedication.
