Gov't aims 5M vaccine doses in third 'Bayanihan' drive

The government aims to administer at least five million doses of COVID-19 vaccines during the third 'Bayanihan, Bakunahan' vaccination drive on February 10 and 11.

As of February 2, out of nearly 59.4 million fully vaccinated Filipinos, around 7.7 million have received booster shots.

Dr. Kezia Rosario from the National Vaccination Operations Center said priority will be given to areas with low vaccination rates, particularly among senior citizens and those with comorbidities.

Additional vaccination sites will be added in eco-zones, industrial parks, universities, and schools to reach more people due for booster doses.
